KNIT WITS' STITCH & BITCH:
KNITTING & CROCHET CLUB
THURSDAYS, 6-8 p.m.
Open to all skill levels and ages... even to crocheters! Get out of the house and have some time to yourself with a fun activity and good company.

Starting Feb 2, come join our Knit-a-long and make Knitty.com's Oblique sweater, a loose cardigan that uses several basic stitch patterns. Download the free pattern, then come select your yarn!

BUILD YOUR OWN AFGHAN:
KNIT OR CROCHET
Once a month, we will provide a pattern for a knit OR crochet square. At the end of the year, you will have enough to make your own afghan! Free patterns and samples each month.

KNITTED HAT -- A GREAT NEXT STEP:
MONDAY, FEB 6 & 13, 6-8p.m.
cost: $30.00, plus supplies
Just learned to knit and not sure what to make next? Try this hat on for size! Learn to knit in the round, plus basic shaping techniques.

LEARN TO KNIT:
TWO CLASS TIMES:
WEDNESDAY, FEB 8 & 15, 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m. OR
MONDAY, FEB 20 & 27, 6-8p.m.
cost: $30.00, includes supplies
Learn to cast on, knit, purl, and bind-off, as well as getting an introduction to yarn weights, pattern-reading, and more. Be sure to stop by the store before the class (or arrive a little early) in order to pick out your needles and yarn.

MITTENS:
THURSDAY, FEB 9 & 23, 10:30am-12:30p.m.
cost: $30.00, plus supplies
Learn to make convertible mittens with the flip-over top out of chunky yarn.

CAT BORDHI SOCKS:
SATURDAY, FEB 11, 25, & MARCH 10, 10:30am-12:30p.m.
cost: $45.00, plus supplies
Learn Cat Bordhi's alternative method for knitting socks.

LEARN TO CROCHET:
TUESDAY, FEB 21 & 28, 6-8p.m.
cost: $30.00, includes supplies
Start from the very beginning. Learn how to chain, single-crochet, double-crochet, and more, as well as how to read a pattern and choose yarns. Be sure to stop by the store before the class (or arrive a little early) in order to pick out your hook and yarn.

TECHNIQUES -- CAST ONS & BIND OFFS:
SATURDAY, FEB 25, 1:30-3:30p.m.
cost: $15.00, plus supplies
**HOMEWORK** Knit ONE 4in x 4in square, leave on the needles. Bring extra yarn and needles for casting on.
Do you face a road block when the knitting is done and the "finishing" begins? Bring squares and learn different techniques to seam them together.
